2/1 Aquarius Lunar Eclipse: Unavoidable Change

new-year-5291766_1280

Lunar Cycle Summary:  From Heart Reckoning to Evolutionary Reset

This two-week cycle begins with a Leo Full Moon heart reckoning and ends with an Aquarius Solar Eclipse future reset.

In between, the sky makes one thing unmistakable:

This is transformation time.

The parade of personal planets moving from Aquarius → Pisces → Aries are each meeting the long-term forces of Pluto, Neptune, Saturn, and Uranus. Nothing superficial survives this. What changes now becomes both the personal and collective  foundation our eclipse season will build on.

At the center of this turning point is Aries energy — sitting at the midpoint of Pluto and Uranus, alongside Chiron and Eris.

This is not random.

This is the evolutionary spiral asking:

Will you respond from fear and anger (the closing spiral)?
Or from love and acceptance (the opening spiral)?

Acceptance is not resignation.
It simply saves time by starting where you are instead of fighting the starting point.

Blame keeps you stuck in the status quo arguing about what should be.
Self-responsibility creates the energized, or less encumbered, fresh start to do more with what is.

The Storyline Arc

Feb 1 — Leo Full Moon: Stop Performing. Start Telling the Truth.

A heart-centered emotional climax around identity, pride, belonging, relationships, and values. Aquarius is stacked, so this plays out through friendships, community, and the collective “group mind.”

This is where you stop dimming and stop posturing.

Clean truth. Self-respect. No ultimatums. Consider your audience not in order to please them.  This is the time to learn mutual respect.  How do you offer more of your authenticity with respect for their own response too?  Change takes patience and invested effort to work with the bumps and evolve together.

Tarot Card: Strength – Persuasion, not force will tame the Lion and remove the thorn.

Feb 3–15 — Uranus Forces the Plot Forward

Uranus stations direct, followed by a chain of squares to Mercury, Venus, and the Sun.  Squares require a hard right or left turn. You cannot do what you’ve always done, the way you’ve always done it.  No results are predictable in this massive change season.  So you can’t try to replicate past success doing what you know, the way you know it.

What does the situation call for now and how can something in you rise to meet in a fresh way.  Expertise is not likely in the learning stage.  Results are unpredictable.  HOW you do it is where true wealth sits for you to discover yourself and grow.

Expect:

  • Sudden realizations

  • Relationship and value shakeups

  • Financial/body/stability recalibrations

  • “This no longer fits” moments

Don’t force old forms. Innovate.

Pisces Influence (Feb 6–10 onward) — Intuition Rises, Edges Soften

Mercury and Venus enter Pisces.  Be inspired by your past suffering and be willing to consider another’s pain without getting stuck in it.  Let what hurts, aggravates or annoys to be the grit in your oyster.  Make pearls!

Creativity, compassion, romance, and spiritual insight increase.
So can fog, idealization, and mixed signals.

Feel deeply. Verify details.

Feb 13 — Saturn Enters Aries: The Era Shift

This is the quiet giant of the cycle.

A new era of disciplined self-definition begins:

  • Less waiting, more deliberate pause to investigate

  • More choosing less reactivity

  • More backbone and inspiration to take the right risks for you at the right time – explore to find them

  • More personal responsibility to make something exquisite out of anything that crosses your path.  Patience required.

You are free to act as you wish.
You are not free from the consequences of that action.

Power and responsibility now sit in the same chair.

The Inner Work This Cycle Requires

With Aries–Libra in our sightline for this turning point, the lesson is not just:

“Be yourself.”

It is:

“Be yourself with forethought, consideration, and patience.”

You must take responsibility for:

  1. How you feel

  2. How you act on those feelings

A real-world example:  A woman on a group call complained that her dear friend refused her apology when in excitement and enthusiasm at feeling free and unbridled she offended the friend.  She wanted validation that she was free to emerge from previous limitations and encouragement to keep exploring more of her whole self.  She was heartsick and frustrated her friend wouldn’t see it that way. The class leader quietly walked her into the realization that she was refusing to give her friend the same grace she was asking for.  Could she allow her friend time to acknowledge the apology and heartfelt assurance that her feelings mattered too?  Could she be more considerate in how she ‘was more authentically herself’ going forward?  Growth requires offering others that which you yourself would want – respect for the process and consideration for others while in it.

To expect others to give what you yourself aren’t offering is a form of power-over, a parent–child dynamic—the closing spiral and a classic expression of immature Aries behavior.

The opening spiral says, “I can be fully myself and allow others to be fully themselves, too. Let’s ask ourselves: Is this the best way we can do this together, or can we find a better way?”

What This Cycle Is Teaching

Watch for:

  • Too much self-regard

  • Too little self-regard

  • Reactivity disguised as authenticity

  • Defensiveness disguised as independence

The people who stay in your life after this shift will not be the ones who think like you.

They will be the ones who approach life with the same energy:

Open and curious
—not—
Closed and defensive

You decide which energy you bring.

It is asking you to respond differently from the wounds that shaped who you’ve been.

That is the evolutionary spiral.

Start where you are.
Act with awareness.
Choose the opening spiral.

Thank you for joining us, talk with you more next cycle for the first eclipse of the Season, it’s already stirring the Evolution within…and quite possibly a Revolution outside.
