Card of the Week – Four of Vessels
This week is about getting in touch with the four corners of your heart. The Wildwood Deck declares boredom but I add to that ‘disengaged’. When we don’t have our heart in it, we feel uninspired and detached from joy. This week brings some intense Pluto opposition that can help light up what you want. You may, however, be uncomfortable with the way it gets served up. The news may be heartbreaking, people may push back on you or others. All of this is in service of you discovering what you really want. What will you stand for, work for, wait for and help bring about? This is the important piece to know. Where have you given up too much of what you want for others or where do you need to let someone else’s needs come before your wants? It’s a balancing act and one that requires maturity in decision-making. Big breakthroughs are possible, incredible gains can happen when our hearts are involved. Day One – Page of Arrows
This Page wants you to harness the inner critic as information is served up today. You may receive important news this Fourth of July. I love what the Wildwood Tarot says “What mystery is at the heart of the matter?” No matter what information you hear today, check in with how you feel about it. This is the power place. What do you like about it, what don’t you like, what do you believe and why do you believe that? Spend a little time at the center of how those thoughts make you feel. Fears are often out of proportion to the threat and underestimate YOU. With Moon opposite Pluto today, strong reactions are likely to show you where the imbalance may be. Day Two – The Shaman
We have some sweet help from the stars today that helps us express some of the breakthroughs from yesterday. Loving support is the magic balm to help heal underlying fears that we aren’t strong enough, capable enough or brave enough to face challenges. With the mighty Shaman standing with us today we can see led turn into gold and things magically work together in ways we didn’t expect. Illumination of the dark corners can help you see what is your true heart’s wish today and help you be part of making that happen for you and the world around you. Just remember the Shaman is a bit of a trickster, so it may not come served up the way you wanted it to look! Are you open to letting it in anyway? There’s magic on hand today for those with eyes to see.
Take Action: Where can you help play magician for someone you love today. Offer a bit of support or insight that makes them feel better about their life and choices, why don’t you?
Day Three – Seven of Vessels
This seven is about letting go of what doesn’t serve you and saying a heartfelt (or grateful in some cases) goodbye to it! You’ve outgrown something, moved beyond it and it may have happened a while ago. But today it may come up, something may present itself as an opportunity to to lovingly free yourself from what could turn into the rotting corpse you’d rather not drag with you into the future. With all the Pluto action this week it’s a good time to clean out the metaphorical emotional basement. Let the feelings come up and into the light. What have you been afraid to let go of that today’s card and astrology can help you face up to the parting ways? It’s time, and there are exciting new things waiting for you to make room.
Take Action: Emotions take roughly ten minutes to travel the nervous system so allow yourself at least one ten minute mourning period today for whatever stands out as the right goodby for you to make.
Day Four – Eight of Bows
Oh well done you!! Way to go with the emotional closet cleaning! You are now ready to get started on what DOES serve you so much better. This card reminds you to celebrate your courage, your willingness to grow. “Be bold and mighty forces will come to your aid” says Basil King. Where you have been bold you will be applauded and recognized. Make sure you are willing to do this for yourself as well! Eights always bring back to you what you put out there so when you strive to be the best you (including human moments and mistakes in as well) this card brings you the standing ovation to mark your efforts. Day Five – Five of Stones
Compromise is the watchword of this card. You can feel impoverished if you don’t work with what is to come up with a solution that suits you better. Rather than gritting your teeth and getting through something today, instead contribute what you know, select from what is available through others and put them together to make it work for now. This may not be the long term solution you want, but a single drop becomes a trickle, becomes a stream, becomes a river. Know this five says begin here and trust what will come about even if you don’t see it now in the present options. It will build on itself…
Take Action: Let yourself have a moment or two of frustration for what you wish was possible, then work with what you have in front of you to get it closer to that wish.
Day Six – Nine of Vessels
Relief! This card says you can see the progress of the week and you are on the right path. Within nine months your dream will come true. This is the wish card that promises your wishes are coming true. The challenge here is to trust the timing, believe and stay connected to your heart. With all that has gone on this week the key word I pull from the Wildwood Tarot for this card is regeneration. After the Seven of Vessels (Mourning) comes the regenerative power of the Nine. Compassion is the water that nourishes all your creative dreams and heartfelt desires. Compassion for the delays that can frustrate, the obstacles that can discourage, the doubts that can creep in to scare you. Be kind to you, be brave and trust this Nine says your time is close at hand. Take heart today!

Day Seven – The Mirror
With this Major Arcana card showing up pay close attention to your dreams these next few days.
