4/12 Libra Full Moon – Problems with Ends & Means

Crashing waves with Rock Outcrop behind

Libra Full Moon | April 13, 2025

This is not a theoretical full moon. It’s one that asks you to practice what you now know, to love like it matters, and to move through your life like it’s a garden worth tending.  As an avid gardener, I began tending  to the amount of rationalization I heard all around me for choices being made this week.  It set me thinking.

Where was I willing to work extra hard to justify my own familiar reactions?  The first impulse  was to default to what I thought would be best based on past experience and then use all my intellect to defend my choices.  No new growth here, except a few inspired justifications that were fresh.  Of course, it was easier to see and copy when others did it first.

So it occurred to me to ask, what am I resisting?  Because the behavior did not feel right, it  just felt familiar.  When someone defended some very unhealthy behavior with the phrase, ‘The ends justifies the means”, I hit th proverbial wall.

To my core I reject that philosophy.  In fact I usually counter with Einstein’s “We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.”  To meet fire with the same old fire is a refusal to go beyond our current thinking.  Which sent me into quiet contemplation I’m still chewing on today.

The rest of this post is some of what came out of those thoughtful pauses.  I’m out to find where my current problems and/or challenges can become my ‘dare to be great’ moments that move me out of what was already created. The rest of this post includes more of the outcome of that quest. Pick what resonates for you and let the rest flow on by as you wish.  But please, I invite you to take things to the next level, thoughtfully.  It’s the difference between surviving and thriving and I wish you more than just getting by in life.

Where is your dare to be great moment lurking in what your day to day life offers up?

They say “the ends justify the means,”
but we are the ones who know better now.

We are remembering:
✨ The means become the marrow.
✨ Every choice leaves a resonance.
✨ Every action is a seed.

You’re not just reaching for a goal—
you are building the foundation it stands upon.

The new way whispers:

“The means become the ends.”
“The quality of the journey becomes the shape of what you arrive at.”
“Right relationship now is the root of radiant outcomes later.”

Let every step be worthy of where you’re going.
Let your integrity be the architecture of your joy.
Let your actions become medicine—first for yourself, then for the world.

 Full Moon Mantra:

“May I build what I seek with care, clarity, and courage.
May my means be as beautiful as the ends I envision.
I am the weaver. I am the thread. I am the future in motion.”

The Moon cycle core:

At the heart of this Moon Cycle is a collapse of outdated relational fields. The Full Moon reveals the truth we’ve been avoiding by shining a spotlight on the tension between self-expression and relationship balance. It’s the Me/We of Aries/Libra in a square to Mars in Cancer.

It’s becoming more and more clear how entangled we all are. If it is good for me but bad for you, change needs to happen. There are so many ways to change things up.This includes ending the relationship with a person, place or thing because you cannot continue the way it is now. When we accept that reality we can get busy shaping the new form of any connection or go on to fresh ones.  When we let the current form go we make space for it to open up into all new possibilities at the next level.  Just pay attention to words and actions that keep you locked into the same playing field when there is much more waiting in this moment.

The opportunity is to do it mindfully, with care for both self and others. That moves us from entangled reactivity which can have us tied up in knots, and over to creative presence that pulls from all the raw material in front of you to shape something new. What happens if we tell the Truth kindly instead of painting a pretty veneer over ugly moments? What if before we act we attune to the circumstances around us?

💔 Mars ☍ Pluto

Our ancestors once lived in harmony with the cycles of the Earth. This is still possible.

The shift? We move away from pushing against life to dancing with it.

The old masculine is dying here. Willpower alone fractures the field. It literally shatters connections and leaves fewer and fewer options. We need to redefine what power and strength look like over the long term, not just who wins a pushing contest.

The Major Themes

Aries Sun opposes Libra Moon and squares Mars in Cancer – When the whole is greater…

  • This is where polarity sharpens. Self versus other. Truth versus gloss. Action versus attunement.
  • Tension creates opportunity for recalibration. Reaction becomes feedback, not fact.
  • The path to harmony isn’t sameness—it’s conscious contrast.
  • The body is our tuning fork. Hot-headedness = nervous system dysregulation. The invitation? Slow down, integrate, then act.

We get a lot of help with that, underlined this Moon cycle. Mars Pluto oppositions are the evolutionary force required to balance between aggression and self assertion. It moves us off of the us/them dynamic and into an integration of all the cooperative effort required to heal, help, grow and renew our circumstances. We really are a whole that is greater than the sum of the parts. The way forward is to embody that Truth.

Mercury in pisces conjunct Neptune & sextile Pluto in aquarius – inspired pattern recognition

  • This is deep neural rewiring—the moment where your subconscious scripts reveal their source code. Just because it was true in the past, doesn’t make it true, helpful or evolutionary NOW.
  • It’s the Observer Effect in motion—you see the pattern, and therefore, you shift it.
  • This is the “aha” when you realize where you’ve been lying to yourself to maintain a fragile illusion of peace.
  • It’s time to trade UP my friends. You can do so much better than what you’ve settle for trying to make things look a certain way in order to feel safe.
  • Sacred discomfort brings liberation. Pain that’s felt fully becomes wisdom.

Venus/Saturn/North Node sextile Uranus and trine Mars – Change through disruption

  • Maturity meets magnetism. This is the blueprint for legacy love—the kind that takes both tenderness and time.
  • With Venus on the North Node, we’re being pulled forward by desires that serve soul evolution, not just temporary longing.
  • Choose craftsmanship over chemistry. Build it, don’t burn it.
  • There are helpful disruptions and destructive disruptions. Learn which is which. Helpful moves people out of their comfort zone with consideration for the shock. Destructive forces change regardless of willingness or without participation.

Tarot Insight:

This Full Moon acts like a mirror—reflecting what’s been hidden and gently bringing it into the light. It’s a moment to witness ourselves with compassion, not criticism, and to choose new, more intentional ways of being. Libra invites us into harmony, not by pretending everything’s okay, but by rooting into what’s real. True balance comes when we stop performing peace and start creating it from the inside out.

We’re shifting from old reactive habits into a more soulful way of relating—one where personal truth and deep connection can dance together, not compete.

Mind – Ace of Swords

  • The breakthrough blade. This is Mercury conjunct Neptune sextile Pluto in action: a moment of precise truth slicing through illusion.
  • You’re no longer seduced by fog. There’s clarity about where you’ve been lying to yourself—especially in the name of keeping the peace.
  • Observation collapses the distortion. No matter how lies are served up, by you or another, your truth is a tuning fork—clear, resonant, undeniable.  The bullshit meter is sensitive and present.  Watch for those body signals… they will let you know something is off!

 Body – Queen of Pentacles

  • Embodied sovereignty. She speaks to Venus-Saturn in Pisces trine Mars—deep self-worth, emotional maturity, and the need to feel safe in your own skin before anything external can harmonize.
  • With Mars square the Full Moon, this card reminds us that rest, nourishment, and presence are not luxuries—they are the necessary building blocks of relationship intelligence.
  • Your body is not a problem to fix. It’s a sacred interface with reality. When you tend it, you fine tune as you expand your entire field.

Heart – 8 of Pentacles

  • Love as a craft. This is not about fantasy—it’s about dedicated practice. Venus conjunct Saturn meets the North Node here: relationships that endure are made, not found.
  • You’re asked to notice your habits of connection. Are you showing up with devotion or expectation?
  • Repetition creates resonance. Small acts of care, repeated with intention, rewire the field of love itself and embed it in your body, cell by cell.

Spirit – King of Wands

  • Purposeful power. This is Mars opposite Pluto transmuted: you’re no longer using force to impose your will—you’re channeling your fire to lead with vision.
  • Spirit is calling you to rise—to take ownership of your energy and embody leadership without domination.
  • This is coherence at the soul level—when your desire, action, and higher vision lock into harmonic motion.  This not only senses the possibilities in the world, it brings them about through light in unexpected and unpredictable ways that exceed any attempt to make things happen.  Rather it works with all the fuel in front of it and repurposes it to illuminating

As we wade through the waning tides, remember: not everything needs to be understood to be integrated. Let this week be a soft spiral inward—where the echoes of the eclipse continue to ripple through your cells, revealing what’s ready to release, and what wants to take root in the fertile dark.

Your presence is the alchemy.
Your breath is the bridge.
And your becoming? Already in motion.

Take it slow, let it be real—and trust that what falls away is clearing space for a more authentic emergence.

Thank you,

Lisa & Mike
