The Card of the Week gives an overall theme to help kick in extra layers of meaning around the card of the day. Use it as a pair of night vision goggles to help clarify what’s been out of focus or shadowed.
We just had the Super New Moon and the energy is surging. Here comes a week that has sweet spots and some good moments after last week’s mind movement energy. You get to practice putting some new understanding into practice and corners CAN BE TURNED. Are you ready…?
Card of the Week – Two of Stones
This Two signals that shared ideas are being wrestled with, molded by discussion, learning to allow for more than one point of view to help strengthen any endeavor. Do you find yourself needing to dominate more than collaborate? Or can you allow even the differences of opinion and view point to build on what the original plan may have been. The old saying ‘if you want to succeed fast – go alone, if you want to succeed big – go together’. This week your choice is to make room for more in your life. It’s not a punishment to slow you down, it’s a gift to help you achieve more than you knew was possible and give it physical form!
Day One – Four of Bows
The fours always signal the four corners of something, like the foundation on a home. Bows are Fire and our intuition so this four says your vision has found it’s tribe. Take a moment and bask in the glow and warmth of belonging. What’s your tribe look like, small or large, these represent shared beliefs and often shared goals. Celebrate your citizenship, your group, your belonging. Don’t worry about clashes or heat that flairs up, that is the natural side effect of living in community. Simply find and stand on your healthy boundaries. Your people will acknowledge and encourage just that for you.
Take Action: Fire requires fuel so praise, applaud and respect your fellow tribesmen and women and be sure to take a bow when the applause comes your way.
Day Two – Page Of Arrows
The Pages are like our inner child, preparing to act but not quite meeting the world boldly as we find in the Knights. The Arrows are the mind, so this is where we take what we learned last week( in taming or at least acknowledging the fear brain and where it has us reacting rather than creating) and diligently putting it into practice. Whether you think you can or you can’t you are correct. So what will you choose?
Take Action: Each time you catch yourself believing the worst, go ahead and stack up a positive option on the other side of the table. Keep balancing, your fear is your servant, not your master!
Day Three – Queen of Stones
This proud Queen is all about the results you can see touch taste and feel. Those tangible results paying off for you today are the result of you keeping a positive mindset, balancing that fear that comes up and reminding yourself that you are always the captain of your internal ocean. Things that are truly delightful take time to come together. So in the absence of the full picture, the results you long for, keep on believing they are unfolding perfectly for you and keep a sharp out out for all the signs that there are already on their way. They truth is trying to reveal itself through the fear.
Take Action: Make a list, mental or actual of the positive progress you already have in your life. It’s there, I promise you. So pause a moment and tally up how far you’ve come and how much is there for you!
Day Four – Three of Bows
This three has shown up a lot lately! Threes are always about communication and Fire is our intuitive vision for more than what exists now. This three invites you to talk to others, share your ideas, open up new dialogues and let the information exchanged give you more fuel, more delight, more challenges to help open you up to even bigger possibilities of how to create, create, create the life you want to live!
Take Action: Choose a word that is powerful and linked to your dreams, your goals and then watch to see where the Universe plops that word down in front of you in an unexpected way. Do share it with us in the comments section. This one is always a blast to see unfolding!
Day Five – The Blasted Oak
Whew, this one is a doozy! If you have been building up momentum, today is the day where the big breakthrough may happen. Whether it’s an internal shift or an external one, this card says that you won’t finish the day with the same thoughts, feelings, plans or beliefs that you started with this morning. Something will shift. Like a bolt from the sky, you are set free! For some who are unconscious it can be unsettling. Understand it is to help release you from limitations that will not go with you into a bigger future. For others it is the prison door swinging open and the daylight inviting you out to play. Be kind to yourself and others today my friend. This is a powerful shift and people may feel a bit tender!
Take Action: Sit down somewhere, alone or with a buddy, and take a few calm centered breaths today. Don’t worry if your mind is racing, just breath and focus on that for at least 10 good breaths. You won’t be sorry….
Day Six – Four of Stones
This is the second four this week my friend. Two fours together form and eight and signify solid relationships where there is a give and take of equal measure. Not equal amounts but equal EFFORT. Because the first four was your tribal Four of Bows, now with the Four of Stones you can see where your tribe is your protection against those dark forces inside or out that threaten your sense of safety. You contribute to the tribe and they in turn nurture and protect you. When you want more from the community, look first to see where your giving is balanced (or not).
Take Action: Draw a figure eight and put what you receive from your community in one side, and what you give to the community on the other. Let it show you more about your tribal home and what you do to help build it.
Day Seven – The Shaman
Ah my friend, this is where the MAGIC happens. Be willing to let one plus one equal five today. There’s no telling how or where Magic will show up. Don’t decide anything too quickly if at first you are surprised at what’s on offer. This trickster can serve up the most delightful surprises in any form it wants. There is richness of possibility and an invitation to create in play with the Universe itself. Nature moves slowly for real change… So have fun and Trust!
Take Action: When you finish up for the day, lay down in bed and let all the day’s magic reveal itself to you. Be open to letting it surprise you!
